Normally the code configured in code window will not be inserted on AMP pages. There is a setting under Misc/Insertion to enable insertion also on AMP pages. However, this would insert the same code also on AMP pages which may work for image banners but not for AdSense which needs different code. The solution is to separate the codes with [ADINSERTER AMP] separator – the code above the separator will be inserted on normal pages, the code below the separator will be inserted on AMP pages. This separator can be used also for Header and Footer code.

While the title absolutely can mean cats in the general folks or people way, this site was named after actual kitties. That’s a major point in its favor. That said, they also provide fantastic resources to WPers, and not only in the WordPress sphere. They cover ideas in general web development, too, as well as design trends. All of the topics, generally, can be applied to WordPress. I don’t think a week goes by that I don’t click into a CatsWhoCode article at least once.

Thank you for all the info! This site is exactly what I have been looking for to help start my Blog or website. Ultimately, I would like to monetize my site but I’m not sure if I should start with a Blog or Website first. My understanding is all Blogs are websites but not all websites are Blogs. I assume if I follow your set up steps for a Blog, I can start with that and add or link the other when and if necessary? For the most flexibility and opportunity would you start with a Blog or a website or both simultaneously? My ideas involve home design, and decorating.
With a single click, the user can easily import pre-designed blog pages. This spares you from having to start from scratch, and it presents a template for future customization. Our handbook for beginners offers an introduction to WordPress, the amazing open-source website platform. Last, you’re in control of your own content. Some other publishing platforms limit what you can and can’t do on your own website. And, you’re locked in to that service; if it should ever shut down, your content could simply disappear. With WordPress, you can import your data from other platforms like Blogger or Tumblr, and you can easily export your data to move away from WordPress, anytime you choose. You’re in control of your content.
If your organisation's website is built in WordPress then you can automatically generate content by using Buffer and Zapier. Buffer can easily capture content from various sources and Zapier can automatically create new WordPress posts from items in a Buffer queue. This integration makes it easy to add posts to a WordPress site without copying and pasting. Once you set up this Buffer to WordPress integration, new Buffer items created from that point forward are individually added to WordPress as new posts.
Keep track of what your team is publishing with this WordPress to Slack Zapier integration. Once set up, you'll get notified in Slack every time a new post is posted on your WordPress blog. You can make the notifications private by sending them via @slackbot, or you can share them with a specific Slack channel to keep your team in the loop about what's being published.
In WordPress there is a way to import posts and comments from a Blogger, Tumblr, LiveJournal, etc. account. For the purpose of this tutorial we would use a Blogger account. First you should make an account in Blogger at the following location: Blogger.com. The creation of a new account is pretty easy. All you have to do is to click on the orange button with title "Create your blog" and follow the instructions. Once you are ready and you have a post there, you can import it in your WordPress site. There are some simple steps that you should complete:
People enjoy visiting sites that say “wow” great site. It is what you want for your business; it will be noticed and shared with colleagues and customers. Moreover, this WordPress theme will give you unlimited domain usage, one click installations and updates, an options panel, and is perfect for monetization. It comes with detailed documentation along with a narrated video. Furthermore, you will receive updates and support for a year. The WordPress Cool theme will work with third party plugins, clean commented code and has awesome looking fonts and icon selection. Overall, you can’t go wrong with this incredibly professional package.
I’d like also to incorporate a feature to facilitate access to Google Translate — possibly by linked “button” to open it in a new tab, although the ideal would allow highlighting of text, selection of the translator button, automatic copying of text into the translator app, auto-selection of target language as that of the column in which it is highlighted, and display of the translation in a sub-window that could be dismissed by clicking elsewhere on the page. I imagine it would be simpler if the reader were required to highlight and copy the text manually to paste it into the translation-app tab, and use its native features to select the target language. One use of this feature would be to translate terms or phrases from other languages that are embedded within the text of one of the two primary-language columns.

There are many reasons why you don’t see ads. In order to help you to diagnose the problem Ad Inserter has many debugging functions that can help you to figure out why the ads are not where you expect them. Here we show example for AdSense ads but the same approach can be used also for other ads. This is how blank ad block looks like – empty space:
If you have specific expertise or something that you are passionate about, you may want to consider writing an ebook. Depending on your site’s current content, you may even have the beginnings of your ebook just waiting to be adapted. While the benefits of an ebook are similar to those of online courses, there is an added incentive that comes with establishing yourself as an authority on a topic. After all, is there anything more authoritative than being able to say you literally wrote the book on a topic?

You may know WPMUDEV for their great set of premium WP plugins, but did you know they also publish one of the best WordPress blogs, too? Problem-solving is kind of their thing, and if it can happen to WordPress, they probably have a solution for it. And not just a hackey, good-enough solution. But a down-in-the-trenches, in-depth, you’re-never-going-to-worry-about-this-again kind of solution. Their writers will walk you through the steps you need for whatever the task is, and when you’re finished, you can’t not have learned something.
Have just set up site using WP 4.9 / Bluehost. Looking for a blog theme that has maximum font / colour and formatting options, will support pics, has multiple gallery options, supports sound (very important) and video. Also want it to be advertisement-ready. Major problem I’m having is that I want to collect and collate opinions and stories from readers; their ideas and responses to numerous topics. Ideally 3 at once featured on a static home page. I don’t know if there’s an additional plug in I’d need to be able to do such a thing, or whether some of these themes listed have decent widgets I could use for this purpose? I have some experience using website back-ends but no coding knowledge. Thanks.

The Classic Editor Plugin was created as result of User preferences & as a way to help website developers to maintain past plugins only compatible with WordPress 4.9.8 giving plugin developers time to get their plugins updated & compatible with the 5.0 release. Having the Classic Editor plugin installed restores the "classic" editing experience that WordPress has had up until the WordPress 5.0 release. The Classic Editor Plugin will be supported at least until 2022.
