In most cases AdSense integration will skip this step and start with Step 2 when only authorization code needs to be entered (described below). You will have to go through Step 1 only when using own Google API IDs. If you have decided to use own IDs and would like to go back using default IDs click on the button Use default API IDs and you’ll be able to skip this step.
Hey there. So I just started a blog a few days ago with WordPress and have made a few posts already. I chose the free option just to get a feel for everything, but now I’m wanting to update to the premium plan as the free plan only allots 3GB of storage space, which you mentioned here. Unfortunatley, i just came across your website this morning as i was just searching for some blog tips, but my question is, what’s really the purpose of using a webhost with WordPress? The blog i created a few days ago is being hosted by WordPress, correct? Or am I missig something?
If you’re reading this post, your business is likely generating at least some revenue from your website directly. Advertisements are a surefire way to boost your coffers, and Google AdSense enables you to place them directly onto your WordPress website. If you’re new to the process, however, you might be asking yourself how to add AdSense to WordPress.
Blogging is one of the most effective and influential ways to communicate with a large audience via the world wide web. Whether you are a self-proclaimed foodie who wants to share your culinary adventures with like-minded individuals, or you are the owner of a medium-sized business who is looking to connect with customers on a deeper level, a WordPress blog is always a beneficial tool.
In order to display Auto ads on AMP pages you need to turn on text & display ad formats for AMP Auto ads. To do this log in to your AdSense account and navigate to My Ads > Auto ads > Auto Ads for AMP and turn on text & display ad formats. Ads usually appear 20 minutes after you’ve turned on Auto ads for AMP and added the script and code described below.

Hmmm I don’t know of an exact match off the top of my head, but if you scour WordPress.org I’m sure you can find a theme with boxed blog posts and a general layout similar to what you’re looking for. Then you can just use the theme Customizer to add a gray background, or try a premium plugin like Yellow Pencil or CSSHero to make styling edits to pretty much any part of your theme.
This code needs to be inserted once on every page where you want to automatically show AdSense ads. The easiest way to do this is to insert the code in the section – go to tab ⚙ / tab Header and paste the code there – make sure header code is enabled (green button top right). This will automatically insert code for Auto ads on all pages. If you need to insert Auto ads only on some pages (or you need to exclude Auto ads on some pages) configure page-specific header code.
The site opened to beta testers on August 8, 2005[7] and opened to the public on November 21, 2005.[4] It was initially launched as an invitation-only service, although at one stage, accounts were also available to users of the Flock web browser.[8] As of February 2017, over 77 million new posts and 42.7 million new comments are published monthly on the service.[9]

Have just set up site using WP 4.9 / Bluehost. Looking for a blog theme that has maximum font / colour and formatting options, will support pics, has multiple gallery options, supports sound (very important) and video. Also want it to be advertisement-ready. Major problem I’m having is that I want to collect and collate opinions and stories from readers; their ideas and responses to numerous topics. Ideally 3 at once featured on a static home page. I don’t know if there’s an additional plug in I’d need to be able to do such a thing, or whether some of these themes listed have decent widgets I could use for this purpose? I have some experience using website back-ends but no coding knowledge. Thanks.

As a website owner, you will be paid each time your visitors click on ads.

Affected publishers received an email with information on how to display ads without the plugin. Google recommends deactivating and removing the plugin, followed by using the QuickStart option or creating and placing ad units by inserting the ad code into text widgets. Those who are manually placing ads using widgets will need to make sure they comply with Google’s detailed ad placement policies.

Here you can choose between responsive (automatic size) ad unit and fixed sizes. In general, wider ad units perform better. In most cases you can choose responsive ad unless you want a fixed size ad. In such case choose one of recommended ad sizes, which have shown to perform well across a variety of sites. Ad sizes that perform well on mobile are shown with a mobile icon.
